We are delighted to have you as a valuable member of our community at TrueROAS! Let's kick things off by setting up your account and ensuring seamless and accurate tracking for your business!

Ecommerce Integration Options

At TrueROAS, we offer direct integration exclusively with Shopify and Woo-commerce stores. However, if you have a third-party store or a custom-built store from scratch, don't fret! We have a simple Custom Integration process to cater to those needs.

Let's Get Started!

After successfully registering for a TrueROAS account, the first step is to log in and add your store. As mentioned before, you have the option to integrate Shopify, WooCommerce, third-party stores, or even custom-built stores (more direct integration options coming soon!).

Once you've logged in to your new TrueROAS account, you'll be presented with a screen prompting you to select the type of store you have - Shopify, WooCommerce, or Custom Store. Choose the one that applies to your store, and simply add your store URL to get started.

Once you've successfully added your Store, the next step is to integrate your Ad Account Platforms and choose the relevant ad accounts for that specific store – you're almost there!

Simply click on "Finish Setup," and follow a couple more steps to ensure everything is in place.

Install the App/Plugin

Ensuring a seamless connection between our platform and your store is vital for achieving 100% tracking accuracy. To achieve this, it is essential to install the App/Plugin into your store.

If you haven't done so already or accidentally closed the window, don't worry – simply click the link below to install the App/Plugin directly to your store. If your store operates on a third-party platform or custom platform, you can skip this step.

No Manual Installation Needed! ⚠️

If your store is under Shopify or Woocommerce and you've already installed the App/Plugin, there's no need to select these options to manually install the script and webhooks, unless explicitly instructed by our support team.

Attempting self-installation could lead to complications in your integration and adversely affect the tracking functionality.

Webhooks

If you’re using Shopify or Woocommerce, no need to worry. Order Created and Order Updated Webhooks should automatically be installed along with your App/Plugin. These webhooks should be triggered as soon as the orders come in.

If you’re still not seeing any orders being attributed on your Ads manager after 24 hours of installing the App/Plugin and a number of orders already comes in after installing the App/Plugin, you might want to check your webhooks if it was installed and is Active/Enabled.

Some other Apps/Plugins in your store may have prevented our webhooks from being installed, you can try reinstalling your App/Plugin or in some extreme cases, we need to install them manually.

If you’re using our Custom Integration, Webhooks should be installed manually. You can check again your installation or go back to Step 3. You may Contact Support if necessary.

UTM Tracking Parameters

Congratulations, you're almost there! Before we wrap up, let's ensure that we add our essential Tracking Parameters to each of your ads. To facilitate the process, we've prepared detailed guide for adding the tracking parameters on various ad platforms. Simply click on the links below that correspond to the platforms you are using:

Already using UTM parameters? No worries! Just insert the "&" symbol (without quotations and spaces) between your existing UTM parameters and ours, and you'll be all set!

Invite your Team Members

Before inviting your team members and granting them access, it is crucial to ensure that you have fully set up your account. To understand the various types of access you can provide to each team member along with their limitations, check our article on Adding Team Members to your account.
